Can I stay safely in my lodge?
You certainly can. You'll feel and hear nature like never before: the rain, the wind, the creaking of the wood and even the frogs! Wood is an extraordinary and extremely friendly natural material, but it is very sensitive to variations in temperature and humidity. The lodges have already withstood torrential rain and 7 Bf winds, and nothing moves. They are anchored to the ground. Doors and windows should be treated with care.
There may be splinters on staircase banisters. Steps and ramps may also be slippery. The pond is ornamental, swimming is prohibited and may also be dangerous for children.
Each lodge has a fire extinguisher and a fire detector. Visible cameras (6) are installed in the car park, brazier and reception areas. The lodge doors can be locked, but we advise you not to take any valuables with you. We cannot be held responsible for any theft or loss. The car park gate must be closed from 9pm to 8am.Please close it again if you enter or leave during this period.
Is there a risk of cancellation?
In periods of prolonged frost, thermal discomfort is real. In the event of cancellation on our part, you will be offered a full refund.
Why is there no lighting on the path?
So as not to disturb the wildlife too much. As we're in an area with low light pollution, we want everyone to enjoy the night sky. You will be given a small torch to return to us at the end of your stay.
Why aren't there any charging points for electric vehicles?
We're in an area of landscape and recreational interest. Unfortunately, the existing electricity network is very limited. However, the installation of photovoltaic panels is under consideration.
What can I expect from a neighbouring field?
Peace and quiet, but not always. Farmers don't have fixed working hours or weekends.
